Cat Nap Unboxing
CAT NAP FAQ
Will there be more Aerobellum Games in the future?
Absolutely! The Aerobellum Games team is already hard at work on the next board game 'Heirloom' on Kickstarter.
Is this game similar to Long Cats?
When we came up with the idea back in the Autumn of last year we were surprised that nobody had done this idea already. Despite this game casual exterior it was a fairly large production and Long Cats beat us to market.
Our game has over 50 thick "chonkey" double sided wooden tiles where Long Cats has cardstock cards.
Cat Nap tiles are double sided where Long Cats tiles are not. (This allows us to pack a lot of game into a smaller footprint.)
Cat Nap has few enough tiles where you can use your "card counting" skills and use strategic logic of how many tiles are remaining to create optimal moves. In Long Cats you've got 108 cards, so that type of strategy is either much harder or impossible.
Cat Nap has modular expansions where you can mix any combination of them to create new experiences.
Cat Nap was also designed by a up-and-coming designer who has designed games ranging from viral PNP games like HYVE and Moonlight to content for Cthulhu Wars.
